She laughs and laughs

Good morning everyone, doesn't look like a nice day here in Brizzie, a few spots of rain this morning and very overcast. With a very hectic week so far I was still able to finish off a layout of Hayley using some of fancypants.
I also used some more Purple Pumpkin buttons.....I just love these things....
Hayley was acting up once again when I was trying to take her photo and managed to save atleast to photo's.
Off to work again today hope everyone has a great day.

TRICK OR TREAT

Well after our spooky night of 'trick and Treatin' I thought I would share some photo's...
The kids were so excited to get dressed and get going I didn't think I would get many photo's...suprise suprise...but Iam happy with what I managed to get..
We went treatin with some friends which was nice although the kids don't really catch up with each other, all they are all interested in is collecting LOLLIES..

Here is a photo of all the lollies the kids got given last night WOW, I must say how great it is for the family's to make "Trick and treatin" so special for all the kids that come knockin on their doors their is so many generous people and I think it is really cool.
It is good to see the bigggger kids even have a go at getting dressed up. There was one house we went past that had the front yard like a grave site and a man dressed up with fake blood running down his body ooooh thankfully it wasn't for real.

And here I have a layout to share using some Imaginisce papers, these photo's were some I had left over from last year of Chelsea and Kelsey. They were taken at home here and chelsea just loved the christmas tree thank goodness no presents were out.

After a busy month with work and school holidaysit has been bliss with me finally being able to escape back into my craft room ( where I love to be ???) I have so many new papers I am wanting to get into and ofcourse some old ones that you leave for those photo's that you don't have that one day you will take......I'm sure many of you out there will agree....So this next layout is of some old papers out of my stash and some of you will notice I have used a couple of purple pumpkin embellishments.

I am so over the rain and working 5 days that I hope to produce some more layouts in the next coming weeks. The school holidays were great going out and catching up with friends most days ( and getting more photo's) so I hope to share some of those as well soon.

So excited Halloween is coming at the end of the month I have just got the new Bobunny Halloween papers and some sizzix scary dies.....ohhhh can't wait......

Sorry i haven't blogged for a few weeks I will try for a better month this month....

Hellllo

Well Helllo, It has been awhile and I must admit I have been a bit slack and busy with sporting activities. Just to keep you all up to date ....Reagan's soccer team played their final game on the weekend loosing 1 nil. It was a great game and they all played hard and enjoyed themselves.
I have managed to finish a layout using Imaginisce Birthday Bash range which seemed to take forever as I kept adding to it, but I am happy with my end result.

Here is the run on to start the game with both teams.

We are the green team and here is our defence trying to stop the ball.

and here is an action shot of REAGAN, he plays defence and he sure is trying to stop that ball from going down near the goal area.

The whole team played a fantastic game and it was a shame they never won.

Today I thought I would share my take on a sketch from got sketch and this is sketch #102.
I really enjoyed this sketch and of course I used the beautiful BoBunny papers again. I know I just cannot stop using this range just love it ....love it.... love it.
Reagan had his preliminary soccer finals on saturday, which was a close game with both teams scoring 1 goal each and then the teams had to play a further 5 mins with the other team scoring another goal.......which then made the other team the winners. But then today we were informed that on the day of the game the teams were to be given 5 minutes and swap ends and another 5 minutes......so now the teams will have to play again.
What a mix up.....Reagan is excited.....he so wants to win.....i will post some pics of sat's game.

Well I finally got around to scrappin this one of my mum and the kids, when they first started school this year....just a bit slack..
I used some sassafras stash I had on hand for this one. I think what took me so long to do something with this photo was mum's purple shirt....But I thought these papers were simple and not to much for the photo and I think it works.
It is soooo windy here and hard to take my layouts outside to photograph but the first chance I get I will post some sketches I have been working on.

Hot Hot Hot

Good afternoon all, enjoying the rain??? I think we are in for some wet days ( great scrappin weather......but not for taking any photos of our work thou ) it is definately EKKA time as i have 2 of my children sick at the moment. I did manage to go to the local scrappin shop 2 day, you don't seem to get much change anymore...lol....but I did get alot of goodies.
I can't wait to start working with it, so I must go and doa bit while the kids are at school as I know I will be picking them up before I know it.
I do have a layout to share using some My Minds Eye papers....

Imaginisce Sketch For August

I thought I would give a sketch a go this week and I have done the August sketch for Imaginise as I am a fan of Imaginisce. I have used the I do range. So if you want to have a go at a sketch you might like to do this one.

Here I used some hand made embellies from Purple Pumpkin Crafts.

Fancypants layout

I remember taking the kids into southbank when I took these photo's of Reagan. He seemed to be a typical boy that day, laughing and poking his tongue out. He never thought I would get any good shots of him smiling.....This will show him...
He was in such a good mood I don't think anyone could have killed the moment, and of course I had fun pretending to be part of the paparatzi team.
It was a great day and I hope to share many more with the kids.

My SOCCER Star

After taking some photo's of Reagan at soccer yesterday I thought it must be time I done a layout of him. I used a my minds eye range on this one and some embellies to match. His uniform is nearly all green not the easiest to find the right papers. He is wearing his day shirt that he wears to soccer but doesn't wear it to play in so that made it easy for me. Could you imagine washing that white shirt after every game..hehe....wouldn't be white for long.

Well up for an early rise and off to Lowood for Reagan's soccer game this morning. Then off to Kelsey's netball game then home for a nap on the couch.....this running around all day on saturday's is hard work.
My first photo is of hayley and her little friend Layla at netball...so cute these girls.
And what is it with these rabbit ears, nearly every photo 2day I had to cop these ears...
Here is Kelsey trying to do her bit and stop the other team from getting the ball. F rom playing this sport myself I find watching her very frustrating and I just wanna get on the court and show how it's done....but this is not the way...

And here is the grunge team who lost 2 to 1 2day. They had a umpire from the nartzee squad today with attitude. Even I wanted to have words with her. Reagan was off( damm shelia ) what the hell's the ref talkin about mum? they were offf side and scored cause of her!!!!!!

What do you say to child... apart from life is full of surprises son and the umpire has made up her mine and whether you think it is fair or not the the umpire makes the decissions.

So here is the team NOT HAPPY...

We are second on the ladder so hopefully the boys will be playing on their own turf..for the finals in a couple of weeks....and we get a good umpire.

Took me a little bit to do this one with all the cutting out...lol, but I love this range so much that I don't want to run out. I have done this layout for Chelsea's album i hope she likes it.
I also used some alpha from Thickers, I thought blended very well with the colours and all.
Ahh we have some sun for how long ??? must go and hang out the towels and then some scrappin time.... kids at school and not many hours left...are you with me????

Giggle Pot

Good morning i hope everyone is enjoying the drizzling rain....I have Hayley sick 2day with sore ears and I think off to the doctors. I have been quite lucky so far with sickness this winter so I one child being not well is okay. Just a quick layout using old Fancypants papers, while looking through my photo's I came across this one of Hayley ( how quick they change ) and grow up.

How cute is this

It doesn't look like we are going to have good weather for taking photo's this week, but I'm not complaining as we are well needing some good rain.....even if it is just to clear all the bugs in the air and to stop people from getting sick.
I did manage to get this layout done, it is actually a take on a sketch.
Love working with some felt....this seems to be the new crazzzz for me at the moment and of course the home done brads using the brad tool from Imaginisce. I love that TOOL.
Loving the Bobunny papers the colours are very strong and colourful easy to use and goes well with some Prima BLING.. a girls best friend....This photo I took of Hayley at the Ipswich show while we were watching the show jumping and eating our lunch. She will let me take alot of photo's if she is in the mood. I hope to get heaps of scrappin done this week and hope to be able to take some good photo's to share them on my blog. I have completed some challenges but cannot show them yet. Sooon I promise....

Flower Tutorial

Would you like to know how to make these cute little flowers????

Firstly this is what you need:

5 punched scallop circles and one small brad.

If you want to ink around the edges of your scallop circles..then now is the time to do it...oh and let dry before proceeding to next step..

Each individual circle you will need to scrunch up like the above picture.

Unfold each circle and stack on top of each other, pierce a hole through the whole 5 circles and put a brad in and fold back your ends so the circles don't escape.

Fold up one circle at a time like above picture, and then do the next one and so on so they look like the picture below.

Now you unfold the last circle alittle, then the next one, and the next until it looks something like this.

This is really a simple FLOWER and Iam hooked on them at the moment. I am having so much fun making them and wanted to share the LOVE with all you crafters who want to have a go at making them......hope you enjoy......

Wishful Thinking

I just thought I would show my layout of using wishful thinking papers isn't the papers just gorgeous...I also had a go at making my own felt flower and hand stitched around the edges to give it that extra dazzle. Mmmm not bad..I think I might have another go at this!!! what do you think? Okay for my first attempt. I also want to thank everyone for their great response on my paper packs that I had for SALE before I knew it I had sold them all. Nothing like passing on the LOVE.....Keep doing what we love and be happy!!!!

Splash Dance papers Layout

I love these papers so much that I never wanted to touch them....but now that I have started I don't want to stop. I used the core dinations gem stone papers also on this layout as they are glitzy and they blend really well.
The children are wanting to go for a bike ride now so Iam off down the street and hopefully on the way back we will feed the horses an apple or two...
I cannot complain I have mainly scrapped all day.....lol
