Hello crafty people, Over at Scrap the girls Blog for the month of SEPTEMBER they have a great challenge waiting for you to enter. This is the first time I have done there challenge,

Hello everyone,
I dont know if you have seen the NEW IMAGINISCE ranges But they are bright and colourful.
I love working with there products and I managed to get some me time so I have put some layouts together.

Purple Pumpkin Sketch

Well today I finally got to finish my sketch from Purple Pumpkin, whoo. I decided to use some Movie World photo's I had floating around, so instead of using one photo I have used few. I seem to be hooked on their embellies too over at Purple Pumpkin, every layout I can't seem to control myself. I will running out in no time, so bring on the next SALE. Knowing Sam she will have some yummy NEW stuff........... Can't Wait.......

Sports day for Hayley

Sports day for Hayley was on Friday for grades 2, 1 and Prep.
It was so good to just follow 1 kidlet around instead of 3.
I was able to get lots of photo's and enjoy the day with her.
She was so proud of herself as see came homewith a 1st, 3rd,
4th and a well done. Not to mention Hayley and her mom won
the 3 legged race. Thankfully I don't have a photo of this:)

Saturday. he has advanced so much this year and he

still loves playing.

Just incase you never picked it up, he is a defence player

and with his long stride he certainly puts the pressure on his

players.
And last kelsey playing netball, each 1/4 the girls get rotated

to a new position so they get to learn all the positions.

I d idn't get toget that many photo's of kelsey's game as they were

bunchedup alot and it was hard to get photo's with just her in it.

Looking forward to doing the new Purple Pumpkin sketch this month.

This is the Purple Pumkin Sketch for JULY,
and today is when it closes. So if you have

The day I took this photo of Hayley we were in Brisbane

at Southbank with some friends. We decided to go to the

park after going to the science centre, to let the kidlets

burn some energy on the play equipment. As they were

all good, we decided to reward them with an ice-cream each.

This is an old photo, of the kids I thought I would scrap.....Since I have just renewed our yearly tickets I thought Iam gonna get bucket loads of more photo's from the theme parks.
Plus it won't be long and I won't be able to get them on the smaller rides. Especially Reagan as he is nearly as tall as me (at 10 years old, imagine how tall he will be at 18 ??? ) so I might as well make themost of it while I can.
I hope you scrappers visited the purple Pumpkin SALE.......Yes I spent heaps...

Something a little diffferent

I have been going though the loads of scrappin stuff I have......lol.....and thought I would get a little dirty with some paints and spray mists. I used a brown paper bag and white cardstock, the rest is some PPumpkin and embellies I had in my stash.....Reagan so loves the army colours at the moment ( i mean in everything ) and if it is in clothing I can't seem to get it off him to wash..grrrross. ...I hear ) yeahmy thought exactly.
Must be aboy thing.

I have really been slack with my BLOG haven't I ????? I know ...... will make more of an effort.
I have been doing a far bit of blog hopping thou and love'n all the work you talented girlies are doin".

Holidays nearly over

Just another day to go before the kiddies go back to school.
We have had alot of fun going to the movies - we have seen "HOP" and "RIO".
There was alot of people there today but we still were able to get good seats. And I might add the first time I didn't have to do a toilet run inbetween the movie...Yippy
And I have done a bit of scrappin...
This one I have used some teresa Collins ( POSH )
Here we went on a river cruise on the city cat on the Brisbane River, the weather was misty rain and cold so we were on the cat for quite awhile before we got off. These were some of the photo's that was taken on the boat.
Despite the weather it was a fun day out.

Hayley Turns SIX

Last Monday Hayley Turned SIX, I would have posted these photo's earlier but the kids have been sick....you can tell winter is here with the nights getting chilly and the mornings getting hard to get out of bed lol. Hayley loved her big girl bike but wasn't able to have a big girl ride until yesterday with being sick with tonsillitis and asthma. I might add having a child with asthma is an expensive illness to have I am noticing $$$$$ But we are getting on top of it so this is good. We all ate plenty of chocolate cake and she did enjoy playing with dog and carry bag.

Good morning, just another day at the offfice 2day. This is a very bright and busy layout for me using alot of flowers and again some Purple Pumpkin embellies. You know when I get my camera out most of the time my kids just smile for me.....I think they know they will standing there until I get some good photos....hehe I have them fooled and it's all for them at the end of the day. While I was uploading this layout I had all three of my kids looking through the album of scrapped layouts reading the titles and journalling . Giggling and laughing and it was a great feeling of achievement that they liked what they saw. I am so glad I love scrappin.

After funning hectic all day with childrens sports and birthday parties on the weekend I never thought I was gonna fit in a layout. By the time we get all our jobs done ( washing, ironing, vaccuming,dusting and all that :) I must say our time as a mother is busy and if you do manage to get some free time (no children ) then thats a bonus and we do appreciate it. Well at least I do..... Today I have used some Bobunny:)

Good morning, my first layout for the week is a double using the lovely Learning Curve:) from Bo Bunny. This is one range I had stored for some back to schoolphoto's that I took in our garden before we went to school for the first time this year. just looking back at the photo's now I can see how much the children have changed. I must say this is one year where I was hoping the kids would be a little bit more independant with there school work, BUT so far I haven't gained much free time. Won't be long and I will show some photo's of our hard working DECK that we have been working on for ages..... I just love it and cannot believe it....

So here is my double layout using a photo of all three kids.

This is hayley's master piece that she has done and everyone in her class has done the same picture using different colours.

This picture was done by all the year one students and each petal around each flower has all the childrens names on it. The art work done by the whole class of every year was auctioned off to the highest bidder.

This is Kelsey's art work that everyone in her class was to do.

And of course his year picture. On this canvas they have used real branches with leaves and some sand, I really liked this one but I never won any.....I thought i was quite generous with $$$ I hate to think how much people was willing to pay.

Goodna Flood Photo's - Brisbane

Here is some photos of our home town of Goodna. This is just one photo of what the streets looked like as many came to take photo's it was busy as some parked their cars and many walk miles to see. this is Queen street heading towards Eric st.

This is my front yard looking out of my Dining Room window, in the middle of the water our bridge what we drive over to cross and the water on the ute was up to the bottom of the step.

Who would of thought we would see something close to the 1974 floods. When we recieved communication of what was heading our way was the scariest thing, NOT KNOWING, whether we would be SAFE. Two nights ago we sat the three kids down in front of the television to watch the weather and to explain what was happening in our area. To go through our evacuation plan with kids of what to do and where to go, what to expect and the look of concern on there faces!!!!!there toys .....will we pack them now with some clothes.....telling them we wont be able to take anything and our saftey is worth more would we have time ....do you pack....do you wait!!!!Being so luck to still have all our belongings and our lives is something to be thankful for and we are greatful. The people that have lost everything and knowing some of these people are living in our streetand the deaths around....Sohopefully tonight we are able to go for a walk to our locals streets to see how much the water has gone down...

Good morning everyone, doesn't look like a nice day here in Brizzie, a few spots of rain this morning and very overcast. With a very hectic week so far I was still able to finish off a layout of Hayley using some of fancypants.
I also used some more Purple Pumpkin buttons.....I just love these things....
Hayley was acting up once again when I was trying to take her photo and managed to save atleast to photo's.

TRICK OR TREAT

Well after our spooky night of 'trick and Treatin' I thought I would share some photo's...
The kids were so excited to get dressed and get going I didn't think I would get many photo's...suprise suprise...but Iam happy with what I managed to get..
We went treatin with some friends which was nice although the kids don't really catch up with each other, all they are all interested in is collecting LOLLIES..

Here is a photo of all the lollies the kids got given last night WOW, I must say how great it is for the family's to make "Trick and treatin" so special for all the kids that come knockin on their doors their is so many generous people and I think it is really cool.
It is good to see the bigggger kids even have a go at getting dressed up. There was one house we went past that had the front yard like a grave site and a man dressed up with fake blood running down his body ooooh thankfully it wasn't for real.

And here I have a layout to share using some Imaginisce papers, these photo's were some I had left over from last year of Chelsea and Kelsey. They were taken at home here and chelsea just loved the christmas tree thank goodness no presents were out.

After a busy month with work and school holidaysit has been bliss with me finally being able to escape back into my craft room ( where I love to be ???) I have so many new papers I am wanting to get into and ofcourse some old ones that you leave for those photo's that you don't have that one day you will take......I'm sure many of you out there will agree....So this next layout is of some old papers out of my stash and some of you will notice I have used a couple of purple pumpkin embellishments.

I am so over the rain and working 5 days that I hope to produce some more layouts in the next coming weeks. The school holidays were great going out and catching up with friends most days ( and getting more photo's) so I hope to share some of those as well soon.

So excited Halloween is coming at the end of the month I have just got the new Bobunny Halloween papers and some sizzix scary dies.....ohhhh can't wait......

Sorry i haven't blogged for a few weeks I will try for a better month this month....

Well Helllo, It has been awhile and I must admit I have been a bit slack and busy with sporting activities. Just to keep you all up to date ....Reagan's soccer team played their final game on the weekend loosing 1 nil. It was a great game and they all played hard and enjoyed themselves.
I have managed to finish a layout using Imaginisce Birthday Bash range which seemed to take forever as I kept adding to it, but I am happy with my end result.

Today I thought I would share my take on a sketch from got sketch and this is sketch #102.
I really enjoyed this sketch and of course I used the beautiful BoBunny papers again. I know I just cannot stop using this range just love it ....love it.... love it.
Reagan had his preliminary soccer finals on saturday, which was a close game with both teams scoring 1 goal each and then the teams had to play a further 5 mins with the other team scoring another goal.......which then made the other team the winners. But then today we were informed that on the day of the game the teams were to be given 5 minutes and swap ends and another 5 minutes......so now the teams will have to play again.
What a mix up.....Reagan is excited.....he so wants to win.....i will post some pics of sat's game.

Well I finally got around to scrappin this one of my mum and the kids, when they first started school this year....just a bit slack..
I used some sassafras stash I had on hand for this one. I think what took me so long to do something with this photo was mum's purple shirt....But I thought these papers were simple and not to much for the photo and I think it works.
It is soooo windy here and hard to take my layouts outside to photograph but the first chance I get I will post some sketches I have been working on.

Good afternoon all, enjoying the rain??? I think we are in for some wet days ( great scrappin weather......but not for taking any photos of our work thou ) it is definately EKKA time as i have 2 of my children sick at the moment. I did manage to go to the local scrappin shop 2 day, you don't seem to get much change anymore...lol....but I did get alot of goodies.
I can't wait to start working with it, so I must go and doa bit while the kids are at school as I know I will be picking them up before I know it.

I remember taking the kids into southbank when I took these photo's of Reagan. He seemed to be a typical boy that day, laughing and poking his tongue out. He never thought I would get any good shots of him smiling.....This will show him...
He was in such a good mood I don't think anyone could have killed the moment, and of course I had fun pretending to be part of the paparatzi team.
It was a great day and I hope to share many more with the kids.

My SOCCER Star

After taking some photo's of Reagan at soccer yesterday I thought it must be time I done a layout of him. I used a my minds eye range on this one and some embellies to match. His uniform is nearly all green not the easiest to find the right papers. He is wearing his day shirt that he wears to soccer but doesn't wear it to play in so that made it easy for me. Could you imagine washing that white shirt after every game..hehe....wouldn't be white for long.

Well up for an early rise and off to Lowood for Reagan's soccer game this morning. Then off to Kelsey's netball game then home for a nap on the couch.....this running around all day on saturday's is hard work.
My first photo is of hayley and her little friend Layla at netball...so cute these girls.
And what is it with these rabbit ears, nearly every photo 2day I had to cop these ears...
Here is Kelsey trying to do her bit and stop the other team from getting the ball. F rom playing this sport myself I find watching her very frustrating and I just wanna get on the court and show how it's done....but this is not the way...

And here is the grunge team who lost 2 to 1 2day. They had a umpire from the nartzee squad today with attitude. Even I wanted to have words with her. Reagan was off( damm shelia ) what the hell's the ref talkin about mum? they were offf side and scored cause of her!!!!!!

What do you say to child... apart from life is full of surprises son and the umpire has made up her mine and whether you think it is fair or not the the umpire makes the decissions.

So here is the team NOT HAPPY...

We are second on the ladder so hopefully the boys will be playing on their own turf..for the finals in a couple of weeks....and we get a good umpire.

Took me a little bit to do this one with all the cutting out...lol, but I love this range so much that I don't want to run out. I have done this layout for Chelsea's album i hope she likes it.
I also used some alpha from Thickers, I thought blended very well with the colours and all.
Ahh we have some sun for how long ??? must go and hang out the towels and then some scrappin time.... kids at school and not many hours left...are you with me????

Good morning i hope everyone is enjoying the drizzling rain....I have Hayley sick 2day with sore ears and I think off to the doctors. I have been quite lucky so far with sickness this winter so I one child being not well is okay. Just a quick layout using old Fancypants papers, while looking through my photo's I came across this one of Hayley ( how quick they change ) and grow up.

It doesn't look like we are going to have good weather for taking photo's this week, but I'm not complaining as we are well needing some good rain.....even if it is just to clear all the bugs in the air and to stop people from getting sick.
I did manage to get this layout done, it is actually a take on a sketch.
Love working with some felt....this seems to be the new crazzzz for me at the moment and of course the home done brads using the brad tool from Imaginisce. I love that TOOL.
Loving the Bobunny papers the colours are very strong and colourful easy to use and goes well with some Prima BLING.. a girls best friend....This photo I took of Hayley at the Ipswich show while we were watching the show jumping and eating our lunch. She will let me take alot of photo's if she is in the mood. I hope to get heaps of scrappin done this week and hope to be able to take some good photo's to share them on my blog. I have completed some challenges but cannot show them yet. Sooon I promise....

Flower Tutorial

Would you like to know how to make these cute little flowers????
Yes,I hear......read on " " "

Firstly this is what you need:

5 punched scallop circles and one small brad.

If you want to ink around the edges of your scallop circles..then now is the time to do it...oh and let dry before proceeding to next step..

Each individual circle you will need to scrunch up like the above picture.

Unfold each circle and stack on top of each other, pierce a hole through the whole 5 circles and put a brad in and fold back your ends so the circles don't escape.

Fold up one circle at a time like above picture, and then do the next one and so on so they look like the picture below.

Now you unfold the last circle alittle, then the next one, and the next until it looks something like this.

This is really a simple FLOWER and Iam hooked on them at the moment. I am having so much fun making them and wanted to share the LOVE with all you crafters who want to have a go at making them......hope you enjoy......

I just thought I would show my layout of using wishful thinking papers isn't the papers just gorgeous...I also had a go at making my own felt flower and hand stitched around the edges to give it that extra dazzle. Mmmm not bad..I think I might have another go at this!!! what do you think? Okay for my first attempt. I also want to thank everyone for their great response on my paper packs that I had for SALE before I knew it I had sold them all. Nothing like passing on the LOVE.....Keep doing what we love and be happy!!!!

I love these papers so much that I never wanted to touch them....but now that I have started I don't want to stop. I used the core dinations gem stone papers also on this layout as they are glitzy and they blend really well.
The children are wanting to go for a bike ride now so Iam off down the street and hopefully on the way back we will feed the horses an apple or two...
I cannot complain I have mainly scrapped all day.....lol

I am really enjoying the new ranges from Bo bunny at the moment, the colors are really rich and vibrant. You know it is funny when new papers come out we can't wait to get them even if we haven't used up the last new release range. Not this time on on a mission and already on the new Fancy Pants range.
I have also tried my hands at making some handmade flowers, which I must say they really aren't that hard. ( very cute hay....lol )

Well having the kids on holidays hasn't really made it easy for me to scrap thou i do have a layout that i have done using the i rock tool. This tool is as easy as 123 and i just love it. This layout is off one of the Imaginise sketches on their blog. Chelsea is such a pleasure to photograph always posing ( so cute ) I hope that won't change when she gets older.
Off to entertain the kids one more day and hopefully i will be able to scrap later.....lol

chocolate 4 four

Chocolate is one of the kids favs so I made a chocolate cake with choc icing and hundreds and thousands with a cup of hot chocolate for the kids as a treat and Kelsey had her friend Hayley over to play with. I did manage to do alittle scrappin and then the wood man came and then Hayleys mum turned up so that was the day.

I never mentioned our chicken got killed by 2 dogs a week ago and I had the pound come out with a cage hoping to catch them BUT we haven't seen the dogs again until yesterday so I went down to the butchers for some nice yummy pork bones to put into the cageto catch them.

Wish me luck !!!!!

must mention these dogs have killed someones pet cat as well, so I hope we catch them.

Good morning, it's a bit chilly, isn't it???
I am so in the mood for scrappin but I need to get my hands warm...
Wonder what this arvo I gonna achieve in the craft roooom. I must say I will have to do a quick rubbish pick up and make some room on the table first ( maybe this will get my hands warm ) after all the birthday goodies now complete I can get into some other stuff.
Out of my leftovers I have made some cards

which is next, she has done all this by herself and she feels damm proud. I couldn't get away with not putting it on my blog ...sorry ... and I must remind you that she is only 5.

I don't at all consider myself as a card maker but I suppose for a childs birthday card they will pass.

On the last card I created this flower, I made 2 the same size and 1 smaller.

School holiday fun

Here we are at Southbank on Thursday.
I managed to get this great photo of the 3 of them while on the city cat. The weather wasn't the best but we still managed to have a great time and I did take a few hundred photo's ( yippy ) so I should be guaranteed yo get atleast 10 good photo's......you would think.

This is a action photo of Reagan and Hayley on this horse at the play area, we did stay here for a while so the kids could burn off some energy.

And last here is Kelsey going down the slide.......she is my reserved one. She doesn't like to put herself at risk, playing it safe on the slide she thinks she won't get hurt yet the lineup is 10 deep to go down the slide....ummm

All good got home safe with no injuries.

Stunt Show

Good afternoon everyone and a quick share 2day.
I took these photos at Movie World when we were watching the stunt show and this is what I have come up with. I'm not normally a rubon type of girl but I have used them on this layout.
I actually thought to myself I should use them a bit more than I do, so you might see some more on my projects soon. You might find I do alot of layouts out of the same range of paper and thats because I cannot stand to many scraps!!!!

I will say I'm off to take some photo's of the lovely ( yummy) birthday range from imaginisce!!!!

This range I was lucky enough to score for free. BUT I do have to do some goodies using this range and unfortunately I can only show a peek BUT I will say I have put alot of work and extra added touches to my layout. I will show sooooooon

Iam so addicted to this little beauty at the moment and i am trying it on everything. It is very easy to use and it just takes 3 batteries for you to be on your way.

This is a photo of Hayley and Humpty.
In prep Humpty goes to each childs house for a sleep over, and he is your resposibillity to look after him and take lots of photo's of your prep playing and doing things with him.
You are also sent home with a book and you are to answer the questions and draw a picture of you and Humpty and when you get your favorite photo developed that goes on your page in the book.
So here is Humpty and Hayley getting a quick photo before she introduces him to the chook!!!!

One thing I will say I hope Humpty took in all he learn't as the two of them were outside for a long time.

Good afternoon everyone,I am having one of those weeks so far where everything happens at once.
ButI did manage to put this cute layout of kelsey together using the lovely "made with love papers". To be perfectly honest I cannot believe a friend of mine was able to get this photo of Kelsey holding a puppy as she has a real fear of dogs. In the photo she doesn't look scared at all.
And she asks for a puppy all the time BUT I know puppy's grow up, so then what!!!!!

Good morning, I am up with the sparrows this morning as I am helping in the class room this morning with reading so I wanted to show you this layout.
I was so excited when I saw this range and new straight away that I had to have it. I have bought a few sheet of each as I just love it.
The rubons are so cute I used the little squirrel in the bottom right hand corner, so cute......
I find the Kaiser Rubons so good for value and are very easy to go on.
I also used some BLING on my tree to make it "pop".

A 5 year old's card and envelope

hello everyone,
I never thought I was going to be able to be crafty today as I had Reagan's poster presentation to help him with......( oops we haven't started yet and need to have it finished for tomorrow ) and we also have Jaykob's 5th Birthday party to go tooooo at 12.pm.
Delegate you say, Yes thats what I did.
To the Hubby I said "help Reagan with his poster" , I need to make Jaykob a card before lunch. Within in 15 minutes the card was done.
Then I helped Ken and Reagan with the poster.
Must say after the party we still had a bit of work to do to finish it tho.
Anyway here is my card and envelope Ihave done.

Here is my card, which I thought turned out rather cute....
I just couldn't stop here so I decorated the front of the envelope as you'll see as your next photo.

Here I used some raised double sided dots to lift my BUG off the leaves, just to give my card some dimension. I am very pleased with my result ( after all I don't consider myself a card maker ) BUT I am really enjoying it....lol
Besides that's all that matters right, ..... as long as I'm having fun and I think it looks okay.

These are the cards I have just finished, as the girls have a few parties to go to in the next couple of weeks I thought the girls could use these.
Kelsey gets really excited with my finished work, especially if it is of her.

I woke up this morning to see the rain had finally stopped !!!!!
We had to leave home by 8.15am for soccer, I looked outside and thought what a great day for scrappin......
Again I thought NO soccer, and waited for as long as we could before leaving waiting for the phone to ring to cancel....( wouldn't that be nice )
No call , so off we went to soccer . The boys were soaking wet before they even started the game and the rain was on and off through out the game. There was even a time I saw Reagan crouching down trying to keep warm. The boys haven't played in the rain before so it was a good experience for them. Leading up to half time I thought Reagan wasn't playing his normal game ( I thought he might be worried about getting his uniform dirty ) so at half time I told him if he got his uniform dirty not to worry because his coach said he would wash all the uniforms !!!! hahahah ......that will teach the coach for letting them play.
AND after that he played a much better half.

Here I have taken a close-up of the right hand side card ( in the photo below ), I actually intend to give this to my nan. On the front I have made the stripe piece of paper open up and here I will place a photo of the kids. On the front I have written thinking of you.
My nan will love this and after the fall she had last week hopefully this card will cheer her up.
As she is quite embarrassed to go out in public due to her bruised face. lol
As if she should be worried about that at her age !!! I mean really she's in her 70's

I really had alot of fun making these cards with some srcaps that I had left over and I now have a fettish for cards. I am hooked at the moment and as soon as I finish the one I have started today I will post it.
I hope my cards inspire you to use up some of your scraps as I think alot of us just put our scraps to one side and forget about them .....

Reagan's Birthday

We had some friends up for the weekend from Coffs Harbour which was nice and one of Reagan's mates over for the day on Sunday. We all ate toooooo much cake as you do .... lol ....and the children played with Reagan's presents.

While I was waiting for my daughters Ipod to charge, I was browsing through my blog folder and realised I haven't posted this layout. I'm sorry I have teased for so long.
In MAY I gave you a sneak peak a challenge I was given. I was to come up with a layout with some Fancy pants papers and embellishments so here is what I have done.

I just love this photo of Josh and Kelsey, I was actually lucky to get this photo as it was taken at SEAWORLD and the kids couldn't stay away from the water slides. We loved the day out with some friends.

Tip Of The Day

Good morning all and i hope your last few days have been better than mine.
With one child having all the symptoms of the flu ( which was confirmed after a long stay at the doctors) that he has a cold now along with the rest of us. So as much as I wanted to do some scrapping my time was limited.
I have finally got rid of my sore ears and on the mend ...lol So hopefully I can get back into what I love and come up with some layouts.

One thing I did learn at MYSTIFIED ( with Heidi swapp and Wendy ) was how to clean the nozzles of your glimmer mist bottles. You will need to purchase some pressurised spray, (got mine from Office works) take the black spray piece off the top of the glimmer mist bottle and by using the long skinny hollow tube that comes with your bottle blow out all yuk that has clogged it up. After acouple of times of this it is as good as new.
But make sure you do get that skinny tube with your can !!!!
So for all you glimmer mist fans I hope you enjoy this tip.

HAPPY MOMMY'S DAY to all you mum's out their, I hope your day was as good as mine.

Happy mother's Day MUM hope you had a good day and hope you enjoy your stay with Judy and her Husband.

My wonderful day started off with sleeping inn ( until 9.15am ) REALLY, followed with 3 children waking me up with all there hand made gifts from school. WOW
Then I recieved a piece of toast and coffee, and a cup cake maker which the kids and I tried out.
I would of loved to be able to decorated them with some icing but they weren't even able to cool on my cooling rack and they were getting eaten.
Oh well maybe next time, just love it - Love it. lol

Ipswich Show

Today we had beautiful weather, just for us to go to the show. We got there early this morning because of parking and some of the rides were still getting sorted so we walked around for awhile. Most of the rides were around $5 and $6 each so I let the kids have a couple of rides each and one show bag. By the time you add this up x 3, Yearly passes to movie world seem cheap.
We haven't been to the show here before so the kids were excited and we all had fun. I suppose you could say I was a bit chicken to tackle the EKKA with 3 children not to mention the $$$$ . I thought I would share just a few photo's out of my 174 that I took 2day. I'm sure to get at least 15 good photo's ( one would think or hope so ) to use for scrappin.

This last photo of the 3 of them is my fav !!!!! Lucky they all pose for me. ( don't have any choice.)

Interesting Arvo

After doing a physical days work it was time to collect the kids from school. Once I had arrived alot of the children were under the under cover area playing music on different instruments and making heaps of noise, so much that I couldn't even hear any words come out of my mouth.
Hayley's teacher came up to me to let me know Hayley had been in trouble 2day, while she was drawing she decided to draw on the floor as well ( no other children were memtioned ) I was shocked!!! Not to worry she said I made her clean it off and it's all gone!!! you wouldn't even know it happened.
Then when the bell went and all the kids came out Kelsey came over to me with an award card.
Mum she said" this was for working so well with 2 digit numbers", she was so proud.
It is nice for the kids to be reconised with their had work and a little praise goes along way.
Well done Kelsey.

Face painting

Here is a picture I took of Kelsey and myself at the school excursion today. We went to Ngutana - Lui Centre. Here we had our faces painted that represented an Aboriginal tribe. Each tribe has there faces painted differently. The kids all went by bus ( which was a treat on it's own as alot of them don't get to go on a bus often ). I know my kids always want to go on the bus to get to school and we live in the same street as our school so it's not really practical for us. We got to have a boomerang lesson, which was interesting although alot of the kids did quite well no-one got hit in the back of the head or waas injured so thats a plus. Learning about different tree's and fruits in the wild for eating and medicine and for soap to wash your hands and clothes. The kids were seperated into 2 groups ( the girls and the boys ) for there tribal dance. The boys had to dance like EMU"S. One hand in front one behind, lift and point your toes with your neck stretched. It was the biggest laugh. The girls was they had to pretend to have a basket in 1 hand and pick fruit from the other and place it in the basket, also had to scurry there feet in the dirt to feel if they could find maybe something else worth eating. I got heaps of photo's and got alot of Laughs

Where has the time gone????
I cannot believe my baby is now 5 and going to school.
This morning I had a litttle lay in only because ken and I were up putting this complex dolls house together until 11.30 pm and I was so tired . Hayley was so excited when she woke all I could here was here excitement. She came running in mummy mummy I love my dolls house is their any more presents? You have to love them don't you. I did get her some other goodies and she was happy to share her toys with her brother and sister, we had bliss for a few hours.

Sad News

We have foxes in the bush beside us and we are missing 2 of the kids chickens. We went for a walk nest door today and found some feathers so I'm guessing theywere somebodies dinner. The kids are devastated.
So we only have one hen left and I now put her in a box at night in our laundry and in her day pen during the day. She can only come out if we stay with her.
I'm really sad. sad sad sad

This is a group shot racing each other to they tube ride. This was so much fun for them, even Hayley got involved.

This is the dare devils in action, it was a shame their is only 4 to a tube Reagan mainly got into another tube with others but this never stopped him.

And here they all are eating icypoles.

The day started a little over cast but was very pleasant. The kids spent alot of time at the water park in the pools and on rides. The water felt chilly to me but you know kids . We went with Bev and Ian and the kids, we all had a ball and the kids all played good together so we are all off to Movie World on Monday.

These scooters can take the weight of a 9o kg person and I must say the bigger you are the funnier it is to see, scooting around. At Christmas time the kids were all given a 8x8 album and here is one I put together, it is a good change from doing 12x12 layouts all the time and you can get rid of the littlest scraps that you may have left over and don't want to waste. Just love this photo of Reagan and Hayley.

Here is a layout I put together and then I got kelsey to do a little drawing in the middle and this is what we both come up with. And now she wants me to do this all the time so you might get to see some more of her handy work.this will be great for her to look back on as she gets older, she have even have a little chuckle.

With this layout I cut strips of paper out of one of the kids picture story books, cut the writting into strips and folded it around my edge. Before I stuck it down I sprayed it with spritz inks, the gold and silver to give it a different affect.

I quite like the spritz inks better than the maya road, a better finish and they don't seemto heavy and beautiful colours.

I am really happy with my layout using these papers it was a good thing I got these photo's while we were away at Christmas 2009. I was so nervous with hayley on the back of the Harley especially on the open road as thats where she went for her ride.

Toothless

On friday night Kelsey lost her first front tooth. That night we put her tooth under her pillow and of course the toothfairy came and left $2, she thought it was great. Her 2nd front tooth was also wiggly and she lost it on Sunday while eating a donut, she got such a fright with it loose in her mouth she spat it out and we cannot find it . She was distressed that the toothfairy wouldn't come so I assured her that we would write the tooth fairy a letter before she went to bed and this is what we wrote.
Dear Miss TOOTHFAIRY
I lost my 2nd front tooth today while eating a donut. I got such a fright while I was eating and have lost my tooth. Will you please leave me some money under my pillow.
I am so really sorry for you as I know you keep childrens teeth as your little treasures.
